- check for proper flue and combustion air
- check heat exchanger for visible cracks and condition
- clean burners and surrounding area
- check thermocouple condition
- clean flame rod (if applicable)
- check pilot flame condition
- clean inducer tube line (if applicable)
- check for gas leaks
- clean blower compartment
- oil motor or motors (if applicable)
- check belt
- check for carbon monoxide
- check all safety limits
- clean or change customers filter
- check for good electrical connections to gas valve, limits and circuit boards
- cycle furnace to check full operation
- check thermostat
- tell customer approximate efficiency of furnace
Boiler Service ($125.00 + hst)
- check for proper flue and combustion air
- check heat exchanger for soot and or water leaks
- clean burners and surrounding area
- check for gas leaks
- check thermocouple condition
- check and or clean pilot assembly
- oil pump (if applicable)
- check all zone valves individually through each thermostat
- check auto vent condition
- check expansion tank condition
- check boiler feed valve for proper flow and pressure
- check backflow valve condition
- check gauges for accuracy
- check limits and safeties
- check for carbon monoxide
- minor system flush (rust inhibitor at extra charge)
Water Heater Service ($79.00 + hst or $20.00 +hst if combined with a furnace/boiler service)
- check for proper flue and combustion air
- check for water leaks
- clean burner and surrounding area
- flush sediment from drain
- check for gas leaks
- check for carbon monoxide
- check gas valve or electrical components
